Funeral Services will be held for Mr. Gary Bennett on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Still Waters Cowboy Church in Carthage, TX. Bro. Matt Comer of Still Waters Cowboy Church will be officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Algoma Cemetery in Marshall, TX. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, August, 1 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Still Waters Cowboy Church in Carthage, TX.
Gary Wayne Bennett was born April 14, 1956 in San Francisco, CA to Mr. Arthur Norman Bennett and Mrs. Dova Maude Garrison Bennett. He passed peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, July 28, 2022 in Carthage, TX.
Gary was the most kind hearted man. He was loving, giving, and forgiving. Gary was a career over the road driver. In his spare time he enjoyed four wheeling, mudding, hunting, and fishing. Nature was his second home and he loved to spend time camping. Gary was a grill master and BBQ king, he loved to cook for his family and friends. Above all else, Gary loved his family and spoiling his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his companion in life, Stacy Speaks; his children, Roy Bennett, Timothy Bennett and fiancé Jennifer, Gary Wayne Kuykendall and wife Misti, and Tracy Guffy and husband Donald; his grandchildren, Skylar Weeks, Joseph Kuykendall, Logan Kuykendall, Cody Kuykendall, Jonathan Guffy, and Kayla Holt and husband Jacob; his sisters, Lois Carter and husband Don, Joyce Maddox, and Bonnie Holland and husband Bobby, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Gone before him are his parents; and his nieces whom he loved so dearly, Sarah Hale, and Kimberly Robbins.
Serving as Pallbearers are Dave Brooks, Skyler Weeks, Adam Archer, Douglas Grannell, Kevin Smith, and Bobby Sizemore.
